The Yeshiva Blog
You've decided you'd like to learn in Bircas, what happens next?
Here is a guide to our application process.
The first thing that you need to do is fill in the application form. (Post High School Application / Professional Application). Once you've done that, we'll be in touch and then there's really a three-step process. We’ll arrange for an interview where you'll meet one of the Rebbeim of the yeshiva, probably the Mashgiach Rabbi Leventhal, but it may be one of the other Rebbeim. Having done that, and now having more of a flavor of you, your personality, your background, we would arrange for a farher, that's an assessment of your learning so that we understand more about where your skills are currently holding and how that would fit in the yeshiva. Together between the interview and the farher we would build up a picture of you, and see how we can help you grow to maximize your potential. And then third, we will speak to your references.
After all three of those steps in the process, Iy’H if we think you're the right person to be successful here, that we're able to help you be successful, we’ll offer you a place on the issue. At that point then either you or your parents have aconversation with myself to arrange the tuition and the payment of tuition for your time in the yeshiva. Any questions through the process I'm available. The other staff are available. We're here to help you and to make it as easy as possible.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate, be in touch. I'm here to answer try and help as much as we can.
